Simon Lamoureux-Voyer

Simon Lamoureux Voyer is driven by a strong interest in the human aspect of financial recovery. His atypical career path has added a unique flavour to his practice. He studied psychology, philosophy and massage therapy, which allowed him to develop a sound understanding of human behaviour and supportive relationships. After working in the restaurant sector for about 10 years, Simon joined Raymond Chabot as a Client Service Agent and later transitioned to an Insolvency Technician role.

Simon’s efficiency, interpersonal skills and awareness of the realities that people face did not go unnoticed. This led to his promotion to the role of Insolvency Counsellor in 2026.

His favourite quote is “Don’t cross the bridge until you come to it.” This captures his approach of tackling each situation one step at a time.

On a daily basis, Simon is motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. His approach is based on respect and empathy without judgment and he takes the time to explain the range of options available to his clients. Simon is organized and analytical and he proposes concrete solutions tailored to each situation. His ultimate goal is to reduce the client’s financial anxiety and restore their feeling of being in control and peace of mind.

Simon is naturally curious and he quenches his thirst for knowledge outside of work by exploring science, history… and even mathematics.
