Katrine Lord

Katrine Lord’s unusual career path reflects her determination and perseverance. For close to a decade, she worked as a hairdresser before purchasing her mother’s business and taking on the administrative tasks that come with the new role of an owner. However, it was at this point that she discovered a keen interest in management and finance. As a result, she enrolled in courses at HEC Montréal. Katrine, a mother of three, applied to a financial institution after her final maternity leave and secured a Financial Advisor role.

Her guiding principle is “Whatever you don’t want to change, you’re choosing.”

When Katrine joined Raymond Chabot as a Financial Recovery Counsellor in 2025, she already had a strong financial base and excellent customer service skills. She is a go-getter and quickly learned the concepts relating to insolvency.

Now Katrine feels privileged to have the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. Whenever a client thanks her for her help, she knows she has found her calling.
