Doriane Villeneuve

Doriane Villeneuve studied business administration in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region. A brilliant student, she was awarded the Leadership Scholarship from the Investment Fund of the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) during her university studies.

The young woman was looking for a new challenge when a recruiter from Raymond Chabot met her. During their conversation, he suggested she watch the documentary series Syndics, which showcases the profession. Doriane was completely fascinated and discovered that behind every debt, there is a story and real people. She then decided to apply to become a financial restructuring advisor.

Her approach? Listening and empathy. Because, as she puts it, no one is immune to finding themselves in a difficult financial situation.

“Helping people find a concrete solution to get out of a tough financial situation motivates me immensely.”

To find the best solution and assist her clients as effectively as possible, Doriane thoroughly analyzes each situation and sometimes consults a colleague to gain a different perspective. For her, seeing vulnerable individuals regain their quality of life and move on to a new chapter is always a rewarding experience.

Outside of work, Doriane is passionate about botany and knitting. Creating beautiful woolen garments allows her to completely unwind—it’s like true meditation!
