Julie Brassard has a Bachelor of Psychology from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. As she was intending to do a Master’s, she also studied social work. She then worked as a social worker from 2002 to 2016, particular for the Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi and for Big Brothers and Big Sisters in her region. Her last position, before joining Raymond Chabot as an Insolvency Counsellor, was providing community services to help individuals prepare a personal budget. Her transition towards individuals’ financial recovery was a natural progression.
“I noticed that when people have a financial burden, they don’t have the same appearance. I can see a physical change and new attitude right from the first meeting.”
Julie is very involved at Raymond Chabot, among others, on the Community Day committee to help organizations in her region. Mutual help is rooted in the way she works. It’s a lifestyle for her.
“Very fast service. Julie was available and attentive to my situation. I never felt I was being judged. Thank you for her dedication, she is a trustworthy counsellor.”
